When friends and family come to visit, I want them to feel welcome and at home from the very start. A wreath on the door celebrates the seasons and greets visitors all with a sense of your own personality and style.

After exhausting my budget on door decorations that were never quite right, I decided to take matters into my own hands and make my own door décor. I’ve always been sort of creative and crafty; I majored in English Literature (teach it now) and have always needed a creative outlet (from writing, scrapbooking, and now all things floral). My mom made wreaths for our own home when I was younger, so this endeavor wasn’t something that I was too unfamiliar with.

Beginning with a playful balloon wreath that I designed to celebrate my oldest son’s first birthday ten years ago, I started to design and create customized wreaths for the holidays and special occasions. Visitors ooh-ed and ahh-ed and asked where I’d found such a unique door decoration, just right for the occasion and season.

Before I knew it, I was customizing wreaths for friends and family, and Welcomes to Adore was born! My husband and our four kids became part of my creative design team. We are a family run business: my kids help design and help to pick out supplies, and my husband helps me wire down designs (no glue here!) and also leads the shipping team for out-of-town orders. With these factors at work, our designs are truly handmade, one-of-a-kind, and made with you in mind.

To date, I’ve made thousands of wreaths for myself, for friends and for clients who have become friends. We also create stunning centerpieces and floral décor, utilizing vintage and unique containers. I am truly happy to share my floral and door decor with you. It’s my goal to create a design that welcomes all who visit your home, to give your home that final perfect touch.
