Winter is always an interesting season in the midwest. It usually brings with it a lot of unpredictable weather, and it can be a melancholy season with its lack of sunshine. But what does that mean for design? Well, for a lot of people, it might mean moving from Christmas decor to Valentine’s decor. Or it might mean focusing on a more neutral, more simplistic aesthetic.
This year I have been totally drawn to both of these ideas, but specifically the simplistic, timeless color and flower combinations. These designs are so great to have up throughout the year, not just winter. It’s what makes them timeless. Perfect to hang year after year.
Tell me, what’s your winter design style? Do you stick to neutrals and subtle color schemes?
